​RTL Group are recruiting an experienced site engineer for a major reinforced concrete (RC) bridge scheme in Slough. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established civil engineering contractor delivering a complex infrastructure project.

Key responsibilities
• Setting out for reinforced concrete structures, bridge decks, columns, abutments, and associated works
• Working closely with the site management team to ensure construction activities are planned and completed safely and efficiently
• Quality assurance, including completing check sheets, inspections, and ensuring compliance with project specifications
• Managing permits, RAMS, and site records
• Liaising with subcontractors, designers, and project stakeholders
• Monitoring progress and reporting on site activities

Requirements
• Proven experience as a site engineer on RC frame or bridge projects
• Strong understanding of reinforced concrete construction methods
• Competent with GPS, EDM, and digital setting-out equipment
• CSCS card essential; SMSTS or SSSTS beneficial
• Ability to work independently and as part of a large site team
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
