​The successful candidate will support the delivery of key civil engineering works across the highways programme, providing technical expertise, accurate setting-out, and ensuring compliance with design and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Setting-out for highways, drainage, structures and associated works

• Oversee and check site activities to ensure adherence to design specifications

• Produce and maintain key quality assurance documents

• Support site teams with technical guidance and problem-solving

• Liaise with subcontractors, designers and project management

• Assist with progress reporting and maintaining accurate records

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Site Engineer on highways or major civils projects

• Strong understanding of highways specifications and QA processes

• Proficient with engineering instruments and relevant software

• CSCS card and suitable engineering qualifications

• Ability to start as soon as possible

• Location: Gloucester

• Duration: 18 months

• Day Rate: £300–£400

• Start: ASAP
