​We are looking for an experienced Site Engineer to join a 6-month contract on a civil engineering project involving water pipeline installation, groundworks, and backfilling of a reinforced concrete (RC) tank.

This role is Outside IR35 and open to CIS or LTD company contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setting out for water pipeline works

• Supervision and quality control of groundworks and trenching

• Checking and overseeing backfilling operations

• Engineering support for RC tank construction

• Maintaining site records, QA documentation, and as-built drawings

• Ensuring works comply with drawings, specifications, and RAMS

• Liaising with site management, subcontractors, and stakeholders

• Ensuring health & safety standards are maintained on site

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Site Engineer on civil engineering projects

• Strong background in water pipelines, groundworks, and RC structures

• Competent with setting-out equipment (GPS / Total Station)

• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications

• Valid CSCS card (essential)

• SMSTS or SSSTS (preferred)

• Blue EUSR

• Available immediately or at short notice
