​We are currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer for a major carriageway widening scheme in Newcastle. This is an 8-month contract with an immediate start for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setting out for carriageway widening, drainage, kerbing and associated civils works

• Ensuring works are delivered in line with drawings, specifications and programme

• Managing QA, as-built records and site documentation

• Liaising with the site management team, subcontractors and suppliers

• Ensuring health & safety standards are maintained at all times

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Site Engineer on highways or heavy civils projects

• Strong setting-out skills using GPS/Total Station

• SMSTS or SSSTS preferred

• CSCS card essential

• Ability to work independently and hit programme targets
