​Overview:
Our client is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join their team on a major bulk earthworks project based in Suffolk. This is a key role requiring immediate availability and proven experience in heavy civils, particularly topographical surveys, machine control, and 3D modelling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setting out and surveying for large-scale bulk earthworks

• Conducting topographical surveys and producing accurate reports

• Working with machine control systems to guide earthworks operations

• Developing and managing 3D models using LSS or Trimble Business Centre

• Interpreting technical drawings and liaising with the project and design teams

• Ensuring accuracy and quality of data throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements:

• Strong background in earthworks and civil engineering projects

• Proficient in LSS and/or Trimble Business Centre

• Experience with GPS machine control systems

• Ability to work independently and manage own workload

• CSCS Card

• Own equipment preferred but not essential

Duration & Rates:

• 4 months minimum with potential for extension

• Competitive day rates: £350 – £450 per day, depending on experience
