​We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a major civil engineering contractor on a Park and Ride scheme in Watford. This is a 5-month contract with an immediate start available for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setting out, levelling, and surveying the site

• Ensuring works are carried out in line with design drawings and specifications

• Overseeing subcontractors and ensuring work meets quality and safety standards

• Supporting site management and reporting on progress

• Maintaining accurate site records, QA checks, and as-built information

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Site Engineer on civil infrastructure projects (preferably highways, drainage)

• Relevant engineering qualification (HNC/D or degree)

• CSCS card (essential)

• SSSTS/SMSTS and First Aid beneficial

• Strong understanding of setting out equipment and quality control procedures
