Site Manager – Live Environment Project

Location: High Wycombe
Start Date: Immediate
Duration: Long-term

We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager for a new long-term project based in High Wycombe, with an immediate start available.

This role would suit a Site Manager with a strong background working in live environments exposed to the public, where safety, organisation, and communication are critical.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Managing day-to-day site operations from start through to completion

  • Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams

  • Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to a high standard

  • Managing health & safety in live, public-facing environments

  • Liaising with clients, stakeholders, and end users

  • Overseeing quality control, inspections, and snagging

  • Managing site logistics, access, and segregation of works

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager

  • Strong experience working in live environments open to the public

  • Excellent knowledge of health & safety and site management procedures

  • Ability to manage multiple trades and activities

  • Strong communication and leadership skills

Beneficial Experience:

  • Education sectorprojects (schools, colleges, universities)

  • Healthcareprojects (hospitals, clinics, care facilities)

  • Strong background in internal fit-out works, including:

    • Refurbishments

    • Phased handovers

    • Working around occupied buildings

Certifications:

  • SMSTS (essential)

  • CSCS Card (Manager level preferred)

  • First Aid at Work
