​We are currently recruiting for an experienced Sub Agent to support the delivery of a major reinforced concrete (RC) shaft project. This is a key site-based role, working closely with the Site Agent and project team on a technically demanding civil engineering scheme, outside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting the Site Agent in the planning and delivery of RC shaft works

• Managing day-to-day site activities and supervising engineers and subcontractors

• Coordinating temporary works, sequencing, and lift plans

• Ensuring works are delivered safely, to programme, and in line with specifications

• Reviewing and approving RAMS, ITPs, and permits

• Monitoring quality, progress, and commercial awareness on site

• Liaising with designers, subcontractors, and the client team

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a Sub Agent or Senior Section Engineer role

• Strong background in reinforced concrete and deep structures (shafts, basements, piling, etc.)

• Good understanding of temporary works and construction methodology

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• SMSTS (preferred) or SSSTS

• CSCS card (required)
