Job Description

As a Recruitment Consultant, you will play a key role in matching top-tier construction and civil engineering professionals with some of the UK’s most high-profile infrastructure projects. You’ll take ownership of a vertical, develop relationships, generate new business, and manage the full recruitment process from end to end. You'll thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source and qualify candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, database searches and referrals.

  • Conduct candidate screening calls to assess suitability for roles.

  • Build and maintain strong candidate relationships to ensure high engagement and loyalty.

  • Manage job adverts, respond to applications, and maintain a strong talent pipeline.

  • Support consultants with interview scheduling, candidate preparation, and compliance checks.

  • Accurately manage candidate and job data via the systems.

  • Provide regular updates to business managers and consultants on candidate progress and availability.

Key Requirements / Skills

  • Build and manage your own client and candidate portfolio within the construction civil engineering sector.

  • Proactively source, screen, candidates for a variety of roles including site managers, engineers, project leads, and trades.

  • Develop strong client relationships and win new business through outbound calls, client meetings, and networking.

  • Manage job adverts, applicant pipelines, interview scheduling, and offer negotiations.

  • Work towards and exceed monthly billing targets and KPIs.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market activity, project pipelines, and competitor insight.

  • Deliver an exceptional candidate and client experience with professionalism and urgency.
