​Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee evening and night shift works on live commercial sites. You’ll manage teams delivering containment, cabling, power, lighting, and testing across multiple fast-paced environments. This role is ideal for a supervisor with experience managing after-hours site operations and ensuring safe, high-quality work in sensitive settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise electricians and improvers during the 4pm–1am shift

• Manage nightly tasks in accordance with project schedule and RAMS

• Conduct toolbox talks, site inductions, and ensure H&S compliance

• Monitor quality of install: containment, wiring, lighting, emergency systems

• Complete daily reports and escalate issues to site/project manager

• Ensure work is carried out safely in occupied or sensitive environments

• Maintain accurate progress tracking and assist in snagging/QA processes

Requirements

• ECS Gold Card (minimum)

• Valid Enhanced DBS Certificate(mandatory due to site access)

• SSSTS or equivalent supervisory qualification

• Strong experience supervising electrical works on commercial projects

• Good understanding of BS 7671 (18th Edition) regulations

• Ability to manage site teams and communicate effectively with management

• Must be flexible and reliable for night shift hours

Desirable

• Testing & Inspection (C&G 2391 or equivalent)

• First Aid (in-date certificate)

• Experience working in schools, healthcare, or public buildings
