​Electrical Supervisor 

About the Project

We’re working on a combination of residential and commercial projects (e.g. fit-outs, shell & core, apartment blocks, office buildings, retail centres, and mixed-use developments) and require an experienced Electrical Supervisor on a freelance basis. This role involves overseeing electrical works on site, ensuring that standards, safety, schedules, and quality are consistently met across different project types.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise all electrical trades on site: electricians, subcontractors

• Interpret drawings, specifications, and designs; ensure they are correctly implemented

• Carry out regular inspections and maintain quality control over installation work

• Coordinate effectively with other trade supervisors, project managers, and site managers

• Enforce health & safety compliance: ensure RAMS (Risk Assessments & Method Statements) are in place, along with PPE and safe systems of work

• Review test and inspection reports, commissioning documentation, and certifications

• Track project progress, flag any delays or risks, and escalate where appropriate

• Support snagging, defect resolution, and preparation of handover documentation

• Maintain accurate daily and weekly reports, timesheets, and materials usage records

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as an Electrical Supervisor

• Proven experience supervising electrical works on residential and commercial projects

• Valid ECS Gold Card

• SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme)

• Full UK Driving Licence
