​We’re recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join a major highways infrastructure project based near Norwich. This is along-term contract role, running for18 months, with a start date of 27th October.

Key Information:

• Role: Site Engineer

• Location: Norwich, Norfolk

• Duration: 18 months

• Start Date: 27th October

• Rate: £350 – £400 per day 

Role Responsibilities:

• Setting out for highways works including road construction, drainage, and structures

• Carrying out quality checks and ensuring work is completed to spec

• Daily reporting and record keeping

• Assisting with site safety, subcontractor coordination and logistics

• Liaising with site managers, design teams and commercial teams

Candidate Requirements:

• Background in highways and civil engineering projects

• CSCS card and relevant qualifications (HNC or higher preferred)

• Competent with setting out equipment and AutoCAD

• Able to manage setting out independently and communicate effectively
