Electrical Working Supervisor -
About the Role:
We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Working Supervisor to join our team on a commercial project, which may include fit outs, shell & core, office blocks, retail units, or mixed-use developments. This is a freelance position, ideal for a hands-on supervisor who can manage site-based electrical works while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and work alongside electricians and electrical subcontractors on site
Read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and design documents
Ensure installations meet industry standards and project requirements
Conduct regular inspections and quality checks of works in progress
Coordinate with site managers, other trade supervisors, and project management
Promote and enforce Health & Safety compliance, including RAMS, PPE, and safe systems of work
Review and verify test & inspection certification and commissioning documentation
Monitor progress against programme, report delays or risks, and escalate as necessary
Support snagging, defect resolution, and preparation of handover documentation
Maintain accurate daily/weekly records including reports, timesheets, and material usage
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years’ experience as an Electrical Supervisor on commercial or industrial projects
Strong understanding of site management and electrical installation standards
ECS Gold Card (Essential)
SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme)
Full UK Driving Licence
Ability to lead by example and remain hands-on when needed
