Job description
My client is a leading Tier 1 M&E Contractor, recognised for delivering some of the most prestigious and technically complex projects across Central London. With a reputation built on quality, innovation, and collaboration, they are now seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to oversee the mechanical delivery of a high-end residential development in the heart of the city.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the mechanical installation from pre-construction through to commissioning and successful handover.
Oversee daily site activities, ensuring all works are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards of quality.
Manage Health & Safety on site, including RAMS, toolbox talks, and compliance with all company and statutory requirements.
Coordinate and manage mechanical subcontractors, ensuring clear communication, performance management, and adherence to programme targets.
Liaise effectively with the Main Contractor, Client, and Design Teams to resolve technical issues and maintain project momentum.
Attend and contribute to progress, design, and coordination meetings.
Monitor project budgets, track costs, and ensure all commercial objectives are achieved.
Oversee testing, commissioning, and final handover documentation.
Ensure QA/QC procedures are followed and all mechanical systems meet design and regulatory standards.
Key Requirements
Proven track record as a Mechanical Project Manager within the building services or M&E contracting sector.
Experience delivering large-scale residential or mixed-use projects in London, ideally with a Tier 1 M&E Contractor.
Strong technical understanding of HVAC, public health, and mechanical systems.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
SMSTS and CSCS –Essential.
Relevant qualifications – Degree, HND, or Time-Served Mechanical background.
Proficient in Microsoft 365 and project management software.
