​We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to work on a public realm / highways improvement scheme based in Liverpool. This is a freelance role offering an immediate start and a 6-month contract.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setting out for highways and public realm works (kerbs, drainage, paving, utilities)

• Ensuring works are carried out in accordance with drawings and specifications

• Quality control, QA records and as-built surveys

• Liaising with site management, subcontractors and local authority representatives

• Assisting with daily site coordination and progress reporting

• Ensuring health & safety standards are maintained on site

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Site Engineer on public realm or highways schemes

• Strong setting-out and surveying skills

• Ability to interpret drawings and specifications

• CSCS card required (SMSTS preferred but not essential)

• Available to start immediately

What’s on Offer:

• £300 – £350 per day depending on experience
