Job description
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily site operations for marine and heavy RC works, ensuring compliance with design, programme, and safety standards.
Manage sections of works including quay walls, marine piling interfaces, slipways, cofferdams, RC basements, and structural pours.
Supervise and coordinate site engineers, foremen, and subcontractors.
Monitor progress against the construction programme and report to the Site Agent/Project Manager.
Ensure ITPs, QA records, and technical documentation are accurately produced and maintained.
Liaise with the design team, marine specialists, and client representatives to resolve technical queries.
Promote and enforce strict health, safety, and environmental standards in line with company and regulatory policies.
Support temporary works coordination, method statements, risk assessments, and marine operations planning.
Requirements:
Proven experience working as a Sub Agent or Senior Engineer on heavy RC marine or coastal infrastructure (quay walls, jetties, piers, sea defences, slipways, or similar).
Strong technical background in reinforced concrete, temporary works, and QA processes.
Experience managing teams and coordinating multiple work fronts.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Valid CSCS, SMSTS (or equivalent), and relevant engineering qualifications (HNC/HND/BEng).
Previous experience working on remote or coastal projects is advantageous.
