​We are currently recruiting for an experienced Freelance Site Agent to join a leading civil engineering main contractor on a 12-month project based in Leicester. This role is Outside IR35 and offers a strong day rate for the right candidate.

The project includes works within the water treatment and highways sectors, so experience in either or both environments is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage day-to-day site operations

• Ensure works are delivered safely, on time and within budget

• Produce and manage all site documentation including:

• Construction Phase Plans (CPPs)

• RAMS

• ITPs

• Task Briefings (TBTs)

• Programmes of works

• Coordinate subcontractors, direct labour and plant

• Maintain high health & safety standards on site

• Liaise with clients, engineers and key stakeholders

• Monitor progress against programme and report accordingly

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Site Agent within civil engineering

• Strong background in water treatment and/or highways projects

• Engineering background (HNC/HND/Degree or time-served)

• NRSWA Supervisor ticket (essential)

• First Aid at Work (essential)

• Strong understanding of QA processes and documentation

• Ability to work independently and lead site teams effectively
