​We are currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer for a long-term earthworks project based in Luton. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a major infrastructure scheme with consistent work for the next 12 to 18 months.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setting out and surveying for bulk earthworks operations

• Monitoring volumes, levels, and progress on site

• Liaising with the site team to ensure smooth delivery and engineering support

• Quality assurance checks and documentation

• Working with GPS equipment and managing 3D models

• Maintaining accurate records and reporting to the Project Manager

Requirements:

• Proven experience on earthworks / bulk excavation schemes

• Strong setting out and surveying ability (GPS, total station, etc.)

• Valid CSCS card

• Right to work in the UK

• Own laptop and software preferable (AutoCAD / LSS)

Desirable:

• SSSTS / SMSTS

• First Aid

• Previous work specialist earthworks contractors
